This past weekend the always lovely Ms. Hawkins and I went to the Baltimore Book Festival in Mt. Vernon, and between the overabundance of hipsters, the future me traveling back in time to warn the present me of impending doom and the pinata dog; these are the photos that I managed to grab.

Also posted the working and mobile Dalek from the Costume Contest. The Dalek had enough room inside for the person to sit, working LED’s, functional arms and a voice changer? That’s just sheer dedication. Person who accompanied her in the costume contest (i believe to be her sister) said she and her father built it from scratch. She made the body. He worked with the electronics. Just… Insane.
Managed to record the Breast Cancer Awareness Deadpool’s speech from the costume contest and posted the video yesterday. Hope you enjoy.

Just made it back inside from the Baltimore Comic Con. It was everything I hoped it would be. Captured a lot of videos and photographs. Most of which I will probably post sometime tomorrow. Going to look through them now and get started on the post processing. Oh, and to any cosplayers that stumble across my account from the card I handed you, thank you for posing and for your patience. You all looked amazing.
Really looking forward to photographing the cosplayers coming to my city both tomorrow & Sunday. Can’t wait. Cosplayers get my respect. The creativity, the dedication, the time, the effort and the passion. Wish there was a way I could get a staff pass for doing photography there, but alas I see no signs it can be done. Either way, should be fun and hopefully I can get some great shots. If you’re there and manage to see me, feel free to say hi. :3
